Wyndcrofte Place

Today's home is this 1933 beauty in Charlotte, North Carolina.  It's in the Freedom Park neighborhood, which seemed an appropriate choice to honor Veteran's Day this week.

{Better Homes and Gardens}

Big lanterns and neutrals, you make my heart sing.

Nailheads and sparkle, we must have the bling.

{The Elegant Abode}

Slipcovers and texture, meals to inspire.

Seashells and baskets, a seat by the fire.

{source unknown :( }

Sheepskin and scallops, blog schedules to keep.

Sheepskin and scallops, to help baby sleep.

{Catalano Architects}

Settees and pillows, a soft place to land.

Porches and rockers, and this is the end.

  1. Happy Monday Vicki! I love rooms with a fireplace so all of the living rooms were such a treat for my eyes. The dining room with the nail head chairs and that gorgeous table came in second. Have a wonderful week... :)

    1. Hi Dee, This was one of those neat houses with bonus rooms that are so fun to imaginary decorate. I'm with you- if it has a fireplace, I'm hooked. Hope you're having a great week, too!

  2. Vicki,
    Okay, where do I pay the Realtor for this house?! I really like the house floor plan and back yard. The neutral decor lets the rooms show off their best features. That living room and lantern might be my favorite room in the house.

    1. Hi Karen, That living room has been one of my Pinterest favorites for quite a while. I'm glad I could sort of "run with it" for this beautiful house. Yes, I think you could have lots of fun decorating houses on both coasts. :)

    1. The office reminds me of some of the beautiful inspiration you've shared. Very elegant, but with a little bit of fun, too. Wouldn't that be a perfect spot to blog?
