Capitol Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana

Hello! Today we're re-visiting Indianapolis to add some color and style to a renovated Cape Cod.

Even though this room is staged, I'm taking that color and style cue from the painting above.

{Angie Hranowsky}
I like this energized room.  It reminds me a little of Sarah Richardson's design for Sarah's House 2, only with a zestier color palette and curvier lines. That rug is gorgeous.  I wonder if it was the room's inspiration piece, because Angie did a great job pulling the room around it.

Sarah's room.  See what I mean?
The dining room has a nice sunny bay window.

We'll bring in the colors from the living room, but mix them up:

Pretty drapes, and again, lots of white to balance all the color.

The listing only shows one of the 3 bedrooms, but it's a cutie.

We can't let downstairs have all the color fun, can we?  (Anyone else see the creepy clown face in that painting?)

Speaking of downstairs, the basement provides a great hang-out room:

I like this design for a more casual, fun space that would definitely brighten up a basement.
That wraps up this house tour.  Hope you enjoyed it, and sorry about the creepy clown comment. :)
Thanks for reading!
